About the Creator

Through understanding ourselves, clarifying our direction, and learning to navigate inner resistance we create the conditions for finding (and actually acting on) work that is aligned with the most possible dimensions of our being.
For me, this journey has included:
• Aligned work: Founding one of the first legal psilocybin retreats (Atman, acq. 2024), and growing a personal development blog to 1M+ readers.
• Unaligned work: Various ecommerce businesses, and freelancing as a copywriter.
I know how draining the inner conflict of misaligned work can feel, and I know how open and energizing it can be to find the next right thing.
Find Your Next Thing is a maximally compressed, minimally distorted version of the most effective methods, modalities, and tools I’ve found for finding and executing on aligned work. It’s what I wish I’d had during my own periods of transition, uncertainty, and stuckness.
I believe doing aligned work is not just a service to ourselves, but something that benefits the whole because each of us has unique gifts that no one else can give. It would be a great honor to help you on your path to aligned work, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you!

Frequently Asked Questions
This program operates on the principle that our outer work often reflects our inner landscape. When we feel stuck or unaligned, the primary constraints are usually internal rather than external – unresolved inner conflicts, fears, patterns, or a lack of clarity about our desires or direction.
Find Your Next Thing follows an iterative, 5-step process called The Alignment Cycle, designed to bridge inner clarity with outer action:
- Connect: Connect with your inner experience: desires, motivations, and what’s actually present for you right now.
- Surface: This connection naturally brings things to the surface – both exciting possibilities for what's next, and the inner resistance (fears, patterns, conflicting parts) that arises in relation to these possibilities.
- Collect & Clarify: Work to clarify both sides, refining potential paths forward into a clear vision, while also gaining clarity on the specific nature and underlying motivations of the resistance.
- Integrate: Skillfully engage with inner resistance using curiosity and care (instead of force or self-coercion), freeing up energy to generate and act on concrete next steps.
- Act & Iterate: Take action, learn from feedback, and refine your vision and approach as you build momentum.
This 'Connect → Surface → Collect & Clarify → Integrate → Act & Iterate' cycle is intertwined throughout the program, creating the conditions for sustainable progress toward more aligned work.
You don’t need a clear idea at all. Many participants begin feeling uncertain, conflicted, or unsure what they want next. The program is designed to meet you where you are, and the exercises help you generate possibilities as well as narrow them down.
The program is designed with this challenge in mind. Module 2 focuses specifically on working skillfully with resistance, including resistance to following through with the program itself. The daily commitment is intentionally manageable (as little as 20–40 minutes), and the approach emphasizes self-compassion over self-coercion for navigating setbacks. You'll also identify your specific blocks to action and create micro-steps that actually feel doable (Module 6), creating a path forward that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
The program provides three recommended pacing tracks:
• "On Sabbatical" Track: 45-90 minutes per day for 7 days
• Standard Track: 40-60 minutes per day for 10 days
• "Busy Professional" Track: 20-40 minutes per day for 14 days
Some days are shorter, some a bit longer, but the overall time commitment is intentionally manageable. If your schedule changes, you can slow down or switch pacing tracks at any point. The average total time investment is about 500 minutes (approximately one workday) spread across 7-14 days.
The program is designed to be self-paced. If life gets in the way, you can pause and resume whenever works for you. Most participants complete Find Your Next Thing in 7-14 days, but you can take longer if needed—you have lifetime access.
Yes! No prior experience or knowledge is needed. The video lessons, guided audios, and journaling exercises are designed to be accessible, with the option to go deeper as desired. Think of it like a good yoga class: beginner friendly, with options for more advanced poses.
Most likely, yes. While you may recognize some underlying concepts, this program provides a uniquely targeted application of inner work focused on transitions to aligned work. Many find that revisiting foundational principles within a clear, time-bound container, and with a specific focus on work and direction, creates fresh insights and momentum, regardless of prior experience.
If the section “Find Your Next Thing is for you if you want to…” resonates and you’ve already done a ton of inner work, this will likely be a great fit.

What Alumni Say About Find Your Next Thing
It helped teach me how to navigate my inner world better when there's a complex of both obvious and hidden desires and resistances. It's given me a better sense of direction on where to take my life next and how to follow through.

This is not what I was anticipating at all, but in totally a good way. Reconnecting with the feelings of alignment is turning out to be exactly what I needed. Just taking those 15 minutes every day has been a really nice pause, it’s definitely opening up a lot of doors in my head, and making me look at things in the right way.

I appreciate the sequencing of the exercises and the thoughtful approach to exploring the possibility space for a new career. My biggest takeaway is that aligned work is absolutely worth pursuing because it will come with challenges as all work does, but it will feel so different in my body.

The progression towards increasingly specific and practical steps was good. The exercises made me connect both viscerally and practically with the vision.

It felt like the format was a good way to capture things I’ve been thinking about and put them on a page and really unpick them and explore them in detail. Cemented the idea of what aligned work felt like for me and is giving me the confidence to pursue it!

So much got loosened up for me by the sequence of exercises... the guidance through resistances and the alternative phrasings of things made the whole experience EXCELLENT. Uniquely felt like massaging knots out of my capacity to envision.
